It’s your voice
I woke up today and a song was swimming in my head… nothing geeky, nor corny… It’s just a simple song, and not even the complete song, just the beginning… how easy is to relate the start of “Clocks” by Coldplay with the sunrising…
that was my experience.
And it has been like that for 2 days already, I wake up, a couple of minutes before my alarm clock beeps, and I just enjoy the energy and the warmth of the sun bathing my face as I take a huge breath, enjoying and tasting the flavor of early morning… so peaceful it’s scary…
Of course, friday morning had the funniest turnout, I wake up and all the beautiful things are taking place, and then I go to the bathroom, and kaboom!… there was no water. The first thought that came to my mind was of course… “fucking shit!”… though not literal, it was still a pain. Luckily I had some water saved, so I took my well deserved shower, and continued with my beautiful morning…
In all that process, I’ve been doing a lot of talking but even more thinking… as I listen to people talk, express themselves, hear their views, and just try to see what they see, I am, of course, building my own personality and creating my views.
But all of this, at the moment, has just given me one small conclusion, don’t lose your voice. It is so cool and so warm and fuzzy when we as a group share our voices and huddle up for one goal… But what I mean is that in all of that, never lose your goals, and never lose that special thing that makes you unique… and that is… dare I say it again?… your voice.
Sometimes I think, “oh yes! I will lay my things and my goals to put someone else’s first”… but no…
Remember to never lose your voice, because each and everyone of us has the chance to change the world.
Do you want to be part of the world, or do you want the world to be part of you?…
That’s your choice.
