Really… I did… Wanna know what’s funnier than being on christmas day on a diet… Breaking the diet… my dear lord… my doctor will KILL me!… I did my best… I had salad… and I picked the least greasy pork.. but… it was inevitable, I mean c’mon!… you have this amazing meal, with such a variety and you really are going to think about the diet!.. My mum was there and she told me… “remember that you are on a diet”… and I had to restrain myself from serving a 2nd plate (which actually would’ve been a 3rd).

Anyways… If I showed you the pictures… it would just be a nightmare, so lets just leave it as it is.

Today, actually… just a few hours ago, I was with some friends having lunch in one of Santo Domingo’s most crowded plaza’s. After lunch we walked around for a bit, looking around, you know… window shopping. But among all the things we found, we also saw one really really… funny santa. To be honest, we thought it was having a seizure or some sort of need of going to the bathroom.

I love this time of year. People always seem to be sooo happy. Family is together, and everyone is friendlier… big issues are either put away or forgotten, and everyone just takes time to enjoy and to be in peace with the season.

Today, we get ready for the big night/morning… (big dinner on the 24th with the whole family and presents on Christmas day!)…
